Dan, the new Robertson 3 piece longbow looks like just what your looking for and his wait time is usually under 6 months. I think it's called the Raven Styk. I'm thinking about getting one myself.

Dan,

I agree with the others who have mentioned Bob Lee. Very generous site window, and if you are looking for more mass in the riser then the Bicentennial model might be something to consider. I had one and it was right up there in performance and shootability.

The Zippers have a larger site window too. The one I had had a very comfortable pistol grip and was very quiet. What really surprised me about the Zipper was how light in the hand it was for a 3 piece bow. I also had a RER, and it too was a great performer and looker with a great grip and longer site window. Lots of good choices out there.

Zipper fits your description,I've got one with two sets of limbs fast, quiet and the riser grip fits like a glove.

I have to throw in Foley. Ron makes a fine bow.

I have two Libertys neither are take downs but are exceptional in the quality department. Allen puts in that kind of attention to details. I would not hesitate to own any Liberty.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I am taking a look at some of those bows suggested and I will report back if I buy one. In the meantime keep the suggestions coming!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Randy Morin Hi-Breed.   The sight window is not what i would call large but these bows are excellent shooters.  I am messing with one as i type this.  I Am loving it.

Bob Lee. Wicked quick. Instantly becomes part of your bow hand. Beautiful and classy looking. Quiet. Smooth as a 16 year old Highland.

I know for a fact that "Ric O'Shay" has been opposed to the 3 piece longbow for years. Just not traditional enough for him. If he purchased a 3 piece Bob Lee longbow, and I know he did, cause I was there, then I would have a tough time not recomending the new Bob Lee LB. My man "Ric O'Shay" knows his bows, and he don't buy junk. Better give them a look, I know I will.   :campfire:

Zipper or Stalker. They look great, shoot great, and both are fine bowyers that will listen to what you want and do their best to build it for you.
