I've lived most my life in western NY except for a few years in the early 80's when I lived in Colorado Springs. I've dreamed of moving back to the Rockies ever since. Next week it is all coming back around though. This time to the Denver area....closer to all the playgrounds I frequent (as often as a nonresident can frequent that is!).
So if there's some fellow gangers that wouldn't mind a little extra company at whatever events you've got planned, I plan on doing a lot of playing in the hills!!
And since I'm most likely going to be an apartment dweller for a bit, I'll be looking for a shop to rent as well. Any info is appreciated!!
  This is gonna be great!!...Don

Hi Don,
Welcome to the west as a western New Yorker myself, finally transplanted to the west, I know how you feel.  Been trying to find a way to move west since the early 80s and now I am there.  Well actually I am in New York for the weekend working on my house but after the flight monday I will be driving right past the Denver area on my way back HOME.  Good luck with the move and be safe, Joe

Don, There are several VERY nice 3-D ranges in the front range area, with several public shoots over the summer/fall seasons. I agree 100% with kadbow the CTAS shoot is a MUST DO.
Feal free to get in touch with me or go to R.M.S.G.  The guys in thier are great to talk to.

Rich in CO

I can't really add any more info than what the other CO boy's already provided. Other than the Cherry Cricket has great burgers. Welcome to CO, do you know what part of Denver you are going to live in

Hope you have room for me sometime !! Especially in Sept.

Good luck on the move and new job.

As mentioned, make sure you join CTAS and make the high country shoot. It is a great time!

Awesome deal for you. My daughter and her family just moved to Grand Junction at beginning of the year. I plan on spending a lot of time in Colorado's vast playground with the grandkids.

The High Country shoot is the first thing on the agenda. Hope to see ya there or along the trail somewhere.

Don-  We're always glad to have another addition to the Colorado Trad Family.  I handle the registrations for the CTAS High Country Shoot and look forward to seeing you there.  Let me know if you need more info than is on the CTAS website.
