For those of you shooting carbon arrows, what is your brand / model of choice? Looking to get a set to use with a new bow for whitetails. It is 50 lb @ 28 Whisperstik Recurve. Thanks, Scott

For me currently Beman Bowhunter 400's. Out of a 51lb St. Joe River recurve. 300 upfront, 29.5" long. Fly absolutely beautiful.
I have shot a number of different carbon shafts...and its tough to beat the Beman Bowhunter's.

There are a number of good ones to choose from, I have been very satisfied with Beman MFXs. I.M.O while there are a few "high end" carbons marketed well and over-priced even better, all the cheap ones are correctly priced.

Beman MFX's are really worth trying!!  Good luck getting that just right set-up!!

I have been shooting the 145 gr Woodsman broadheads and really like them on my aluminums. Scott

When I get a new bow, I always ask the guy who builds it for his suggestions on arrows etc.

GT Traditionals 35/55 out of my 49# RER.  I went with the blems from Big Jims - can't beat the price - I think it was $42.99 for a doz shafts.  They have shot very well.
Enjoy the hunt!  - Mitch

I love the CE Heritage 150's out of my Hoyt Buffalo recurve pulling 54#. Cut at 29.75" with factory knock and 100g field point.

I enjoy my Gold Tips but recently bought a dozen AD Trad Lites and they fly really nice! All of my arrows are 29.5" and I vary the weight up front depending on the bow.

I use gold tips because that is what the archery store near me stocks. They are cheaper than I can buy most any other online, and they cut and glue in my inserts fore free.

Just about any stick will do it, if you put helical fletch on it.  ...  Oh, yes, it helps if they're not warped.  Haven't seen a warped carbon out of the box yet.

Arrow Dynamics Trad light for your bow.  Arrow Dynamics is the only tapered carbon shaft out there and they are the only carbons that fly well out of my Black Widow or Bob Lee bows.  You might also look at the AD Hammerhead lights.
