I've tried a back quiver a couple of times over the years and just can't get the hang of em.  I can't reach the arrow to get it out.  I cant hit the hole to get the arrows back in.  I look like a dork walking around with one arrow sticking 12" up above my head......Could someone post some pictures of how these things are supposed to fit.

The problem with Dale's quiver is that for hunting, those arrows are going to make a big racket rattling around in the near vertical quiver--as you can hear in the video clip.  That is fine for 3D if that's all you plan to use it for, but what you want in a hunting back quiver is for it to lay over more so the arrows do not rock back and forth and the feathers will sort of interlock and keep the arrows quiet as can be.  Also the extra strap prevents you from sliding the quiver around under your bow arm as you duck under low hanging brush.  The leather must be just stiff enough for the quiver to hold it's shape but flexible enough for it to mold to your back--that's what helps keep it in place and keep the arrows from rattling.  Sort of like this....

I saw a clip with Ron Laclair showing how to take an arrow out of the quiver. Use your bow hand at the bottom of the quiver to lift the quiver and make arrow removal easier. Putting them back in is just the reverse, bump the quiver up to see better over the shoulder.

At least for me back quivers have been an "aquired taste" but learning how to use one I've discovered there is nothing like roaming the woods with a longbow and arrows on your back.

Check out the recent issue of TBM, great article about this...I think the author knows what he's talking about

Looks like it would work well and be pretty quiet. I like the simple look.

   First of all a Quiver needs to made right....Second it should fit right....
   And once ya get used to one, ya know where the hole is and ya just stick the arrow in....
   Anything new ya need to get used to it....
