Hi all,

I finally had the chance to get out and shoot my 175 grain Simmons Tiger Sharks today. After shooting compounds for so many years I was skeptical about getting the "Tiger Sharks" to fly true.

I knew my arrows were a little weak but I gave them a try and sure enough the broad heads would drift 2-4 inches to the right of my field points. With a perfect anchor and release they were dead on but I don't have many perfect anchor and release combinations. So, after making several modifications (1 inch of my full length 400's and reducing insert weight 25 grains) they were cutting holes with the field points. Just to be sure, I put the bow down for a few hours and went back out to give it another try and I had the same result...

I am sure there are many great broad heads, however this is my first trad set up and I was thrilled to watch the big beast track to the target with perfect flight! I love this stuff!   :jumper:

They not only fly good.....RC

I have some glued up with 75gr. steel adapters. While I have yet to stick anything with one, I can say they fly very well on a tuned set up.

I'll be ordering my 175 Tiger Sharks soon!  Will be shooting them out of a my new Lynn Harrelson recurve, 54@28inches.  Hope to make some RC memories!!!  :archer2:

I look forward getting my first animal with trad equipment... Continuing to practice and hopefully I am confident by hunting season. We will see!

I really like the screw-in Tiger Sharks I got about a month ago.  They fly awesome and aren't as hard as I'd heard to get sharp again.  Now if I can just get some turkeys to cooperate!
