Whats your glove preference, and why. thanks

Mike Vines

American Leather Big Shot.  I like the fit, and my fingers like the seatbelt material on the part of the fingers that touch the string.

Superglove. Good fit, smooth fingertips, nice release.

Another vote for the Big Shot. Worth every penny.

I've always shot a Demascus but recently tried a cheap finger-stall style glove by Neet. It is now my favorite but I think I'm going with a leather-tipped Big Shot myself. My dad loves his.

I prefer the thinner Damascus glove.

I always used a thin glove then a few months ago injured my hand quite badly. Could not shoot with those gloves & so I read some threads on here & bought the AL bigshot. No pain or nerve damage now. Only glove the doc wants me to use.

i just got a berlin glove from 3rivers and like it pretty good. first one i ever tried but it seems ok.

Demascus glove! Thin enough to feel the string! I have tried others that were just to thick for me.

Where can you buy a big shot? I have allways used a tab, but thinking of changing. Burt

The Damascus feels right. Lately I've been shooting 2-3 hours a day, so I also use black electrician tape over the worn spots. Works a lot better than it sounds, or looks.

I like the Super Glove at 3Rivers Archery and the Grizzly Wolverine "SS" Glove at Braveheart Archery which are both similar gloves with a Cordura nylon fabric on the fingers that is really nice. I also like the Big Shot glove, but it is much thicker and heavier and does not work as well for me, but does for others. The Big Shot is also a lot more expensive. I mainly shoot the Super Glove and Grizzly Glove or a Bateman Cordovan tab, and I shoot them equally well. The tab is easier to put on and take off and easier to carry, so I use it the most. The Eichler tab from 3Rivers looks really good too and has been highly recommended by many TradGang members.
