Hello,

ive converted a cheap bow quiver into a side quiver and wanted to show you. Perhaps someone gets inspired by it and has a similar bow quiver lying around waiting for a  new use.

This was a 20$ el cheapo bow quiver with a quick detach system for riser bushings.

Ive just spray paintesd it brown (was black), made a leather attachment for my belt to wich ive attached the part that normally stays on the bow. As i was just putting some limbskinz on my bow and had some scraps lying around ive put a ring of it on to make a bit more pleasing to the eye.
No work of art by ay means but cheap, functional and selfmade... so just the way i like it. And you can take it of really easy and quick.

Thanks for looking,
Axel

Nice job!  It's always more satisfying if you can convert something to make it work for you.  I have a very similar outfit that works great.  Thanks for sharing your pictures!

When I needed a hunting quiver for the longbow my solution was just to attach some 550 paracord to the frame of a similar bow quiver. I also like that I can now attach it to my backpack when moving through thick brush that would otherwise snag it.

I certainly like this idea for a belt quiver, though.

Very cool, I've done something similar to one of my old quivers cept mine doesn't rotate like yours does & I used a piece of camo pant leg to cover part of it.

Mark Baker did sell a unit very much like what you made, I was cheap and didn't by one from Mark and also made my own. They work well. Nice job by the way!!!!!

I like it alot. Ive got a compound bow quiver around here somewhere ive been meaning to do something similar with. I bet there pretty common at yard sales and flea markets. Nice job.

I did a similar mod many moons ago, except I added a rifle sling so it could be carried across across my shoulder.  Still have it somewhere...
