wood arrows?

What kind of woodies do you use for turkeys and what is the finished arrow weight?Trying to choose between cedar or a heavyier ash.What do you think?Also a two blade bh or four blade?Anybody use the 4blade bear greenies?

id check out doug fir also. between the 2 u have id say ash with my choice a big 2 blade

the only good wood is straight wood with a finished arra mass weight at 10ggp or more.  my wood shaft of choice these dayze is surewood doug fir.  i get the premium 11/32" at 360-370 grains raw shaft weight and that will yield 29.5" arras w/125 gran points that weigh 550 grains, or 600 grains with a nail footing.

How exactly do you do the nail footing and how much will the spine be affected?
