Looking to order a new black widow longbow; got the new catalog in and now it seems I can't resist;

BTW, I am doing alot better now since re-hab; shooting low to medium weight bows and shooting everyday; will be back in saddle by hunting season; looking to order a 46 to 48 lb pull bow @ 28 in; I am a 26.5 in draw so that weight should do me just fine; thanks for all of your prayers...........  :campfire:

I bought  low poundage PL III to rehab my shoulder and it worked out so well I bought another hunting weight PL V. It is a great system as I can shoot flight after flight of arrows with the lighter bow and the switch to the heavier one is quite easy. I just love the BW PL.

I just got my new PSAX last week.  I absolutely love it!

Love mine as well, have had it for 5-6 years now...Glad you are doing well with your rehab....be sure to send pics when it arrives!

I'm glad you were bitten with the bow bug and not the actual bug. Both will cost you though.

I have come close to trading my PSAX a few times but that would have been a BIG mistake . I shoot my PSAX better than any bow Ive shot to date and probally wont find any bow thats more perfect for me .

I can only hope that the "BW" bug isn't as invasive as  the "HH" bug...LOL

Roy,It could be,they even have their own "Widow Wall" which I proudly belong to and many more here.My SA111,for me ,is the most accurate recurve I have shot to date,Just like HH's,theres something about them.

I am am afraid  that I have been bitten by both bugs and Ican't seem to get rid them.The symptoms seem to last for years.

I would like to get a Widow some day. Which recurve is best fit for hunting?

I have had my PSA II takedown (Graybark) for about 6 years now. it is a killing machine! I LOVE IT. You won't go wrong with ANYTHING black widow makes. It is worth every penny.
If you hunt with your kids when they are young, you won't be hunting all over for them when they are teenagers.

I have two PL's.  They are the best (for me) shooting longbows I have shot.

I have a 64" PL II TD @44# with a LAG grip which I just got a few months ago and a 62" PL X 51# which I have had for several years.

They are sweet bows to shoot.  I will have another one in a year or so...

You will not be sorry...  If you are not to far from Nixa, its worth the drive over....

I had a PLV a couple years ago and just didn't care much for it.  It was a beautiful bow but couldn't compare to my O.L. Adcock one-piece ACS (to me).  On the other hand my PSAV with Asbell grip is absolutely the best shooting, smoothest bow I have ever owned and the one bow I would never part with.  For me it is "automatic".  I also had a PSRV take-down and circumstances being what they were at the time had to sell it.  Even though it was similar to the PL I enjoyed it much more and wish I still had it.

I recently traded for a PL V. It is on the way here. I am anxious to shoot it and compare to my ACS CX Bows. I love the new short riser ACS Bows. I now have two. Take care , Randy
