Archery isn't something I do, it's who I am!
The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

I had just sent a note to Roy telling him how my spine surgery went bad and they had to rush me to the hospital 200 miles away for an emergency surgery because of infection. So ther I am recovering with nothing to do ,SO thought I'd make myself a matching back Quiver and matching Haversack with sort of a Mountain Man Flair, made the buffalo horns to along with some shafts from Braveheart my kids gave me for Christmas and it all matches my great looking Hat from Roy.I can't thank him enough.Hope you all enjoy.

Heavy stuff Steve, spinal infection! I hope you are mending well, best wishes from DownUnder. Your leatherwork is very nice, including the whip-stitched edges.

Wow, great work Steve!
The quiver is beautiful!

I can imagine the difficulty you are having with your back problems - not just the significant pain you deal with but the testing of your patience as you heal.  I am praying your recovery will be quick with amazing results.

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

Steve--BEAUTIFUL!

If you are still looking for more to do, you should make up another sack and backquiver like that for the St. Judes Auction.  I would definitely bid high on that!

Actually, if you are interested, shoot me a PM or e-mail and I will buy all the materials you need.

Keep on healing and those big muleys will be waiting

Maxx and I got together this last weekend and it was a true joy meeting Ken and spending the afternoon discussing Trad and hunting.A finer gentleman you couldn't meet.So many good people on this site.True brothers and sisters of the bow.
The pictures don't really show how much sewing went into these items.I've probably made 12-15 back quivers.Everytime I make one it got traded for something else, this is actually the first one for myself.I wanted something to pass to my grandkids.
