Anybody shot this bow...Kustom King has them and I just read a review...seems like a good little bow for the $$!!

I've bought one this Christmas for my girlfriend. The 2012 edition looks better than the previous one. These little bows are made at up to 40#, have a warranty of 25 or 30 years I think. The thing is I didn't receive a warranty certificate from the Romanian shop (they told me I have the receipt so if it brakes I can send it to them - but if the shop closes...) so I contacted Bearpaw and since my German is quite rusty so to speak I've written them in English which is a language they don't seem to understand very well. They told me they would send me a warranty certificate if/when they will find one (didn't ask for the adress neither so I don't think they meant that). I think I should try contacting Henry Bodnik on facebook or something, maybe he would make things clearer.
Anyway, it's a very nice smooth draw bow to shoot with. Has some hint of a handshock and I'm a little amazed how fast the arrows are flying for a 35# bow. The only thing I would complain is the handle: this bow has a grip for little hands.
If you need a more serious Bodnik R/D longbow I would suggest the Quick Stick.

Here's a picture of the little fellow above my super grizzly.

Sorry about that. I'll resize it later and poste it again.

I contacted Henry Bodnik, he said the bow will not need a warranty certificate since it's got a serial number on it. I saw some of their new bows lately like the custom Kiowas and Quick Sticks and they look great. Those Bearpaw guys sure are among the Europe's finest bow makers.

My buddy bought one about 3yrs. agofor a starter bow. It shot fine , we put one of those slip on rubber grips and that helped with the handle fit then we put a fast flight string on and that made a pretty big difference in performance. Since then he has let people use it to rehab shoulders and to just get started in Trad. So I would say it's well worth the money. I didn't notice any hand shock or anything either even after the string change. Any how hope this helps.

A few guys in my area had Bearpaw make them Little Sticks in hunting weights (50#-~62#) and apparently they're darn good shooters for a short and inexpensive longbow.
