Anyone know what's the length of the DAS Kenetic bow David Soza was shooting in Masters of the Barebow vol 1. I have similar DL and height.
Thanks

I think he shot either 58" or 60" most of the time. He also had his limbs turned in to the max. If your draw is less than 28" you will be fine with a 58" bow.

58"....weight was no higher than mid forties. He did a lot of testing but from what he told me the limbs were Winex shorts.

Wow. I am shooting a 62" recurve and was thinking of buying a 64" longbow (wonder if this is too long). Don't hunt so length not an issue but would perhaps impact performance?
Thanks

Most bows it doesn't matter how long they are, they all shoot about the same through a chrono. Bob Morrison did a test with his bows shooting from 54" to 64" on his recurves and only got 1 fps difference between the lot. So don't worry about length and find a bow that feels good and is appealing to you.

Speed is probably unaffected by length.  BUT accuracy sure is.  A shorter bow puts more string on your release fingers making your release more critical.  It's the reason you never see a compound shooting fingers.  Look at about page 10 or 12 Shooting the Stickbow.

Also the reason Oly shooters are shooting 70ish inches.
