Leaving a bow in a hot car in the summer is asking for trouble. Ever any problems with a bow that was shipped in the middle of summer?

I haven't heard of any problems with shipping in the summer,I've shipped bows in the summer.I guess it is possible if the bow stay in a confined space for an extended period.I don't think they will load up a truck and park it in the sun all day,good question.I used to take my bow to work for shooting afterwards,I would take my bow inside in a case,never left in my car.

Bows are tough. It'll be fine. It's always hot here, and so my bows are always shipped to hot weather.

Shipping souldnt be a problem. We used to to stump(cactus) shoot in 110 degree summers at 29 Palms CA. Never had a bow come unglued. I do think repeated exposure to extream heat is stressful on a bow and that those bows that that do delaminate may have had hidden glue flaws to begin with. Most industrial epoxys have an upper temp work rating of 180 degrees or more so you would have to leave a bow in the sun in an enclosed car/case for a long time to get temps like that. If your wax has melted out of your bowstring, thats a warning sign your bow got really hot.

Never had a problem with shipping,if they are packed well you can ship anytime.
