Well last Friday, the 1st, we got up and headed to Montana.  Went to Ennis to visit friends.  Then, Saturday we got up and headed to Lakeside, just south of Kalispell.  Why Lakeside?  Well that happens to be the home of Bear's Paw Bows!  A few years ago I bought a bow from from Neil and it came in right where I wanted it, but it was just a tad to heavy to shoot for any length of time.  So we took it up to have a few pounds taken off.  While there I got to shoot one of Neil's new metal riser bows, his Avain line.  It is a metal riser recurve, that is smooth.............smooth as butter to shoot!!!
Then, he had this bow there that was in need of an owner with a short draw length, just happens that with a 25" draw I fit that bill, so shorty came home with me!!!

This is a short recurve that is 52" long and 56 at 25!
I think that this bow will be my choice to shoot at the annual golf shoot coming up the end of the month!
Well it was a great trip, back to the grind tomorrow............

I guess if we run into the bear that is making these tracks, we oughta just get off the trail.......He seems to like it!

Hey I saw that bow at the MBA convention in Kalispel on sat. Sweet bow! I thought it would be great out of a blind or stand.

Bernie B.

That's a great looking little recurve!  Wouldn't that be nice for turkey season!
