I really like the spalted sycamore, but I'm curious about the Walnut lam. Is that for asthetics or lam stability?

Far rider. I asked for the black walnut because I felt it is a good core wood with a good amount of snap.  But Alos I was looking for a contrast to the boo cores.  The contrast did not do what I expected.  However, the bow has nice speed and is real smooth and stable.
