Will they work together.I know i have to get a glue in adapter.Just don't know is there is going to be a big offset thank for your help.

If you use steel adapters there tends to be more of a shoulder of the adapter at the insert than the aluminum ones. I think that may be what you mean?

If the head is bigger than the shaft it should help with penetration.

They will work just fine, you'll need the 11/32" size for the STOS.

Having the base diameter of the BHD ferrule larger than the shaft diameter will only improve penetration.  :thumbsup:

I like the combination with the 100 gr. steel adapter since it allows a decent FOC; I use the lighter GT's 3555 (7.6 g/inch?) with 125 grain STOS, sharpened razor sharp with a KME broadhead sharpening jig. Killed 3 deer last year with that set up, all pass-throughs with a 45 lb recurve. Very straight arrow flight using full length shafts and arrow weight comes to about 477 grains total.

Much better the head bigger than the shaft than the other way around.  Even better would be a tapered shaft.
