How would you know if your over the max brace height and what will happen if left over the max. My leon stewart T/D Recurve say's Brace 6 1/2 on the limb and at 6 1/2 its really noisey but i set it at just almost 7 and it shoots really good and has hardly any noise at all. I just don't know how much i can adj. it or am i over the max. and what would happen if i am. I don't know how much you can adj. normally on these bows.  :dunno:

If it shoots good, its quiet and feels good in the hand....leave it.6 1/2 is a starting point, you just go up or down from there. It can vary depending on arrow weight, shooting style, string material and such. The bow will tell you when you went too far.

How can you tell, what will the bow do or what sound made?

It just gets loud again......
Bowhunting is "KILL and EAT" not "Catch and Release".....Semper Fi!

This is good to know, I think I may need to increase my brace height.
