Thought I'd call these Peppermint Stix....    :D

Someone asked me to make some arrows that would be visible in flight and on the ground...don't know why they needed them to be visible on the ground?? These arrows are made to hit the mark! haha

Good ol' Surewood Shafts, 11/32" tapered to 5/16", 80#-85#, 4 4" shield cut, alternating red barred and white, dipped in ProFin. Someone on here said the ProFin yellows white paint. Just had to test it out. It hasn't yellowed these.

Talented work, someone's gonna make some memories with those.  If some of my arrows could talk, ohhhh the stories they'd tell!  :D

You got it Stan...what spine weight?

"Peppermint Stix...they are sweeeet!" Couldn't help myself.    :biglaugh:

Seems like ever since I got a super deal on nocks (about 7,000 of them!) I'm trying to think of new combos for arrows.

Snag,

Very nice arrows, like you always produce!

Fellers, that was me talking about the yellowing and it was right away - not over time.  I PM'd Snag about it back and forth a few times.  We came to the conclusion that my ProFin was stain contaminated.  I will post a photo with an arrow that has the condition, after I get home.

The contaminated ProFin has been discarded into an old can and I am using a fresh can now.  Like NoCams and Snag I didn't have this problem on earlier shafts.

Ray, thanks for helping me remember (recent problem!..haha) about the yellowing thing. It all comes back now. Good to hear it was not the ProFin 'cause I love the stuff!

Thanks for the compliments guys. Just love making arras.
