Fantastic, congrats Brother. Love the big 6 points. Pretty rare!
Actually it's a 7. Almost wish the 2" g3 wasn't there.

I'd say the drought is over. Nice buck. I know it can be very frustrating at times but glad to see you stuck with it. Too easy to give up and return to the wheels, or, and I hate to even say it, go to the Xbow.
Actually, my frustration of missing a doe and losing another this year was making me think of going back to a compound. I didn't feel confident, and felt I owed it to the animals to make clean kills. Which wasn't happening. My eyes seem to be all over a deer at the shot. That's when I rustled through my old compound gadgets and found enough pieces to put a single pin on the bow. Made all the difference. The pin settled and the arrow was away. I'll always have a tracker on too, that was awesome.
Thanks all for the replies.

That's an awesome deer!  Congrats and thanks for sharing!
For we did not follow cleverly contrived myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; instead, we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.

Good story and buck! I need some of your mojo right now.
Everything I have and have become is due to the Lord and his great mercy.

That is awesome!

Congrats,

Bisch

P.S. - I would be interested in seeing what you have for a sight and how it is put on your bow!

was that an old film can you used?
I had a bunch of these plastic containers that I was putting bait in for trapping.

I traced a quarter for the hole. Attached with a screw where a quiver would go.

Sorry for the blurry pics. Hard to hold still on macro setting.
I put a piece of foam behind the black piece to try and save my riser from scratches.

And the story gets better. I posted my success on another site, and one of the members there PM's me.
"I have your buck on camera".
As it turns out, he hunts off of a road that parallels the road I hunt. All private land. Sure enough he has the same buck. He never knew the buck was there until today when he checked his camera. Too bad for him, but so glad he sent me the pic.
