Locket Socket

Do any of you  know if a Big Jim style locket Socket can be added (presumably by him) to an existing bow?

If I remember correctly, he makes a pretty much finished one piece and then cuts it in two and does the socket. That's why I am asking.

I've heard talk of some doing it... but...

I don't think he does... usually because the riser is built "reinforced" before turning into a takedown...  and most wouldn't or couldn't hold the stress...
