Great work guys. My coaching commitments are winding down, played it cool with my time away from the family up until this point and the Bills do not play at home for the next couple weeks! Ready to put the petal to the metal. Each time out I feel as though I am getting closer to the first one. NY is a beautiful place in the Fall and I feel fortunate to experience with a longbow in hand. Good luck guys

Skunked today. Not a deer to be seen, heard one but none to be seen. One possum and a billion squirrels. Didn't have my killer instinct with me so I left the squirrels alone. Hunted from my Niff Tee seat 0645 to 1030.

Sean's story of bowhunting the Catskills got my juices flowing. I've been hunting small plots, clost to farm fields and houses. But, after reading his story, I had to hit the "big woods." What a wonder the big woods work on the soul. ... Had a spike spend most the morning sleeping within 22 yards of me, and I couldn't be happier.
