I always seem to go back to my 70" Yew and Wenge Mahantango longbow. Took a great 7 point with it last year, a doe a few years ago, and a goat in Hawaii, as well as much small game.
I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.

Definitely, my Thunderstick Mag. Totally trust it.

(Of course, the choice is simple, since it's the only bow I have. )

58" 50@28" 2 pc. Toelke Chinook finest shooting bow I've ran across yet...!!

I changed my mind about my go to bow. I transitioned from my recurve to my McBroom long bow 55lb at 28" drawing 29". It is built like a tank and suddenly I have become very consistent with it. The simplistic beauty of a Hill style bow is another reason. Don't need a stinger as you can string and unstring it in seconds with no worries.
What gives me wings? Flying with my arrows over and over again. And never giving up...For giving up means not believing...

Get well soon Ron!

My go to is my Thunderhorn Heart Stopper...

One of my two Morningstars. I have other bows that I like a lot, but there is just something about that reverse handle ASL. Only problem is that James put the elk hex on these bows, so they only can seem to get shots at deer and turkeys.

For years I would have said my Silvertip takedown recurve, but I picked up 62 inch Silvertip takedown longbow a couple of years ago and it has become a trusted friend.  That said, the new TallTines Stickflinger is seeing a lot of shooting time.  It is pretty impressive, but I haven't hunted with it yet.  Our season opens 10/1.

I sure wish I could narrow it down to one..although I have a go to bow for different scenarios; large game, small game, indoor paper game...but if I had to pick one it would be my Yellowstone Half-Breed, 60" 56#@28".  I could hunt anything in North America with it, I've shot more than a few X's in a 300 or Vegas round with it, it is a takedown and I just like to look at it and it might like me too cause I seem to shoot it ok.

Kimsha Mattawoman II.  Not even close.  However, I've been shooting an older non FF Kimsha Chesapeake, 50's style recurve recently and started on some Doug fir shafts last night.  I love Tom's bows and his grips fit like a glove.
