This little raghorn must of barked at me twenty times, my wife's ankle biter would of been proud of him, and yes I barked back!

These calves were tiny, think they were late droppers!

Thanks for starting this thread!  We flat-landers are going to love it!
For we did not follow cleverly contrived myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; instead, we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.

I'll be up again with my wife hunting mid week coming up so I I might have more time to take pictures, I hunted/scouted pretty hard the couple days I went up this last week and only took a couple pictures. I also bought a new camera that came in this last week while I was up so hopefully will have some better pics than these ones I took with my phone!

My son and I leave out this coming weekend.  This will be our 4th elk bowhunting trip.  He and I are just as excited as if it were our first!

Good luck to you.  We are taking his Go Pro so hopefully we'll be able to share some good pictures and stories when we make it back home.

Me and the wife heading in last week, we don't go real deep, just half a mile and about 400 feet of elevation change, walk is a lot easier past where we camped and we run into elk sooner.

Where elk were all summer, and now pine squirrels seem to be at the top of the food chain.

Oh, but hope springs eternal that they will be back soon!

Here's something I wanted to share. This is the entry hole of the elk I recently shot, he was angling slightly towards me and above me, so the arrow traveled up and back through his rib cage. I was surprised the arrow didn't get more lung- a couple inches forward would have been a better place to hit.
