Please check out my add in the sponsors classifieds.  I've bought up most of the remaining stock of Ribtek heads out of Australia and have brought them here.  No fluff, no sexy packaging, no choice of bevels, just a good honest broadheads at affordable prices!  Please let me know how I can best serve you!

What's the cut width and length on these?
I use 190 heads.
Thinking they must be pretty big.
Thanks

LBR, no sir, I saw no reason to try and compete against the Zwickey Eskimo in the affordable 125 grain broadhead market.

Zradix, I'm no engineer in the measuring department, but the 190 grain are right at 1.25" wide and about 3 1/8" long.

They are massive. Similar to Grizzly Kodiaks.

Dang it. I'd have been all over that if you had the 125's.

Great!  Funny thing is, just last week I was looking at the website of the Ozzie company that has bought up the manufacturers inventory and thinking "somebody ought to buy it all up and market them here.  Good job on meeting a market.

Maybe you should buy up the manufacturers equipment and start making them.

Thanks for the reply.
That is a GOOD sized head.

Good idea.  Funny, I have toyed with the idea of doing just that myself off and on but never pulled the trigger.  I liked those good 'ol Ribteks and still have a few around here somewhere.

FYI you will need to file Federal Excise Tax on 11% of the sale price as the "Importer".  You don't want to be in hot water with Uncle Sam!

Thanks Tim, I'm clear on it.  I'd be remiss if I didn't publicly  thank KentuckyTJ and Bill Dunn for their advice and guidance on this little venture.  Basically I figure I bought myself a lifetime supply of heads, maybe I can break even at some point.  :)

A lot of folks are asking about mix and match for shipping.  Makes no difference to me as long as we keep it in half dozen lots.  It's just cheaper for me to ship a dozen at once as opposed to 2-6 pack lots and I'm trying to save you all that buck.

So I'm intrigued by these. But I'm concerned about the glue surface area...thoughts?

Zradix

I thought about that too.
My thoughts were to put a little extra glue on and let it "coat" over the ribs. Seemed like it would make a stronger bond than a normal smooth ferrule. Seems like the ribteks glued that way would have more than just the glue's sheer strength working to hold it on...it would also have the glue sticking up into the the ribs and mechanically holding them in place.

..my 2¢

^^^ that's what I've always thought but I have no proof either way.

160 GRAIN HEADS ARE ALL SOLD!

145s just showed. Pretty much a dead ringer in size to the two blade Zwickey Delta.

KentuckyTJ

I agree with the ribbed design having better glue holding ability than a smooth ferrel. When the glue fills up in the gaps and hardens I would think to pull the shaft out at that point would be very difficult and take more pressure than the smooth walled ferrel.

These are 1 solid piece of steel right?..no welds or brazing..

Me too.

I've killed several critters with them.  Don't recall ever having one pull off, or have the ribs hinder penetration.  Never had one fail.

Biathlonman

They are, solid piece of steel.

Sorry fellas.  125 weren't available if I recall correctly 115 and 130 were all that was left. Couple extra swipes with a file you can make a 145, 130. Lol.

Truth be told I didn't really know what I was getting into.  Figured I better get heads I like and would use because I might get stuck with a bunch!

Zradix

COOL!

Just paypal'd ya an order for the 145's.
Like the dimensions on those.

Thinking being all steel (no welds, no brazing) I can braze on some 75 grain woody weights I have layin around and make six tough 220 grainish heads for $28 total.
GREAT DEAL!
