I know how invincible a man can feel with a new widow, but.....

I'll pledge $20.00 to next year's St. Jude auction in the name of the winner.  'cause I ain't pickin' a winner.  If we can get some money raised, the kids win.  What say all y'all?

Good heavens...I am in with whomever said that a video would raise some money...

Not nice to mess with the elders in Camp... but ...may the best man win!

When's this shootout and how long does the suspense build anyway???
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

The Elm Hall shoot is in a week  and a half and is one of the best kept secrets in southern MI. The shoot out will occur on Saturdy
Greg Nicolaou will officiate  (and hold the special prize).

Quote I will donate $50 in Ron's name to St Jude's....Ron, if I pull off an upset, you donate $50.
OK Sledge, you're on           either way the kids come out the winner.

But in all fairness I can't use that old Wilson Brothers Black Widow target recurve. It's 68" long, and 36# at my draw. It shoots a 700 carbon like a lazer beam so I'm not gonna take advantage of you by using it. I'll shoot my old 40# Shrew Model-T longbow against your new 60# Black Widow recurve.

I'll even help you out by watching very closely when you shoot and pointing out the mistakes I see in your form.       :goldtooth:

I have to make it to Elm Hall this year, been saying I'm going to go, but keep putting it off.  This would make my first time EPIC!!!! I'll put $20.00 in the kitty for St. Jude no matter who wins too!  GO RON & GO ROGER, the kids are winners no matter what.
Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.

The initials of that  special prize wouldn't happen to be E.T.L. would it?      :jumper:

"Yup, that'll do. "  In the famous few words of Roger Norris.

I can't wait to read the results.  I am a long way from being able to go there.  I do hope that Ron puts in on you, Roger.   :)

Aaaahhh....I LOVE underdog status....No matter. Whatever happens, the kids will get a few bucks.

By the way, in that picture above, Ron is holding a bow he bought 20 minutes before we shot. He won. So if I do pull off an upset, believe me it will be epic.

Big Dog, if this were a poll.....you would be winning! This crowd is rooting for you...don't let them down. But if you gotta lose....at least I'm charming and humble    :bigsmyl:    :archer:

Roger, I have to say, when I saw Ron with that big ol' Black Widow in his hands I did not think you had a chance. Maybe you can talk him in to shooting you right handed...

Good luck buddy, you are going to need it    :saywhat:

Down in Shrew Hollow by ole Armstrong Creek

There once was a young buck, who thought his shooting had peaked

So he went to Elm Hall with that new Widow Bow

Where he met Ron LaClair and now his head hangs low

If Michigan was not a 8 hour drive for me Id love to be there.

Gotta be fun, heck, I probably could use a archery lesson too.
