Received my new 2 piece Whip from Dan Toelke late yesterday afternoon. We immediately spent some time together getting acquainted and if initial impressions mean anything we are going to have a long life together.
First off I love the bow bolt. That and the micarta riser add a little weight to the bow, although overall the bow is very light in the hand.  Dan provides 2 endless loop strings with the bow. Not being a fan of this type string I immediately thought to myself that I was going to have to change it, but I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. I used the string Dan had set up with a nock point and aside from setting the brace height no other tuning was necessary. The bow sent my GT 3555's down range in a flash. Smooth on the draw, fast and dead quiet. The standard thumb rest grip is very comfortable and provides consistent hand placement shot after shot. I spent another hour shooting it this morning and I think I'm falling in love.

Sure is a beauty Fred.  You will have a hard time choosing between that and your next bow...

It sounds like you are healing up good too!
