The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Thanks to all in the Tradgang community!! It means a great deal to me to share this hunt with all of you. Especially my Schafer Silvertip trad brothers and sisters!!

Great buck and congrats to you!  Glad you were able to have a successful hunt in Iowa.  There are people who have hunted here their whole life and not taken a buck of that size!  Very well done.

Congrats on a great public land buck!!  A great buck anywhere but even more impressive on public ground!  I'll be in Iowa next year!  Can't wait, it is the motherland of deer hunting!
