Dan and Jared are great guys and have been extremely kind to me including answering all of my questions and correspondence. Even in the early days of me being a customer, Dan called me back from his elk camp to answer a question of mine. I met his wife at Libby this year, what a wonderful lady! His son Seth builds some great strings too!
The fact that they make an array of outstanding bows and quickly because that is their livelihood, is really the icing on the cake. Great family, great product and great ambassadors for the sport.
64" Toelke SSLR
64" Toelke Whip SL
68" Toelke Super D
Great Northern Quivers only!

All the best!

I traded emails with Dan tonight because he has a 60" T/D Whip on his site and I asked him about it accommodating my 28 1/2" draw length. Dan said it would but he recommended I go with a 62" Whip. He also said he could build me a custom bow in about 30 days. I guess I will be placing my order this week.       :bigsmyl:

You will not be disappointed, they are superb bows.

Agreed!  Toelkes are tops in my book. Don't think I'll ever shoot anything else.  Have a 64" Lynx, 64" Whip HS, and will be adding a Pica later this year I bet.

:nono:  Fred, Don't blow your wad now lol.

Let me know how you like it.

Based on everyone's opinion, it sounds like its a well liked bow.

Charlie, I have another option.....I was offered a one piece by a fellow tradganger and may just take him up on the offer so I can shoot a Whip and see if it works for me. With such a short build time I can always place an order with Dan and get it in plenty of time for this season.

Fred, when you order our Whip HS please remember to get it in a reasonable draw weight. I'm not as young and strong as I used to be..

30 days is a long time for Toelke. He must be going on an extended summer vacation. Lol

Great customer service and super well made bows

I think you need a Pika  :)

I also have a 64" HS and also have a Pika being built for pop up hunting.

I plan on calling Dan tomorrow and placing my order for a T/D Whip. I'm thinking of 62" 45#@28" linen mic arts and ziricote riser with myrtle limb veneers.

Nice call on the wood choice. That would be my ideal as well!
