I have an older pse nova compound and I was wandering if I could get some recurve limbs to put on it? Wanting to turn it into my bowfishing now. Thanks!

This is very popular lately. Depending on the limb -base configuration and angle , and/or ingenuity and machine shop tools, you may be able to make a fine shooting bow. That being said, the limb angle on the PSA Nova is pretty big and would require significant shims to get good performance.

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.

Thanks, guess it would be easier to buy a difference bow! Lol

I warf is a conversion to ilf limb pockets. Run a search here on "franken bow". They key is the limb pad angles. around 17 degrees is best. Most bows that can be "warfed" can also just have limbs slapped on them with some minor fitting.

check out the Oneida bows. very popular in bowfishing. I use my tried-and-true Martin Hatfield, myself, for bowfishing, but those fit your description.

Shop the web. There are risers made from carbon for under a hundred bucks, limbs for about the same or a bit more. Good enough for bow fishing. Otherwise keep your eyes open for a used bow in not so good condition cosmeticly.
There are some of those old compound risers you could "bolt on" limbs. Most guys op for the ILF setup as it is somewhat adjustable. This does up the cost.
