What a line up!  I love wood bows!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Good looking bows.   A good looking bow looks better with battle scars on them. Having a pretty bow and don't hunt with it is like having a sports car and not driving it.
You can hop but you can't hide.
If it was not for rabbits I would never get a buck.

Crittergetter, that's a beauty! Is it a Buffalo?

No sir, it's one I just built for my swap bow on the bowyers bench. Although, Big Jim is kindof my idol! If you can't tell!   :biglaugh:

It's my only bow and the one in my signature...

The cocobolo has some faint, wide fiddleback patterns almost like a waterfall bubinga in it and some rich charcoal grey grain lines.  The limbs have primitive arrows woodburned into the bamboo under clear glass.  While it's not a crazy exotic burl, it is somewhat unique and aesthetically pleasing plus its the best shooting bow I've shot to date.

Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

Wow!!!!!!  Some very pretty bows in this thread.  Glad to have one of them.

I would love to see these bows in person. I don't know a single other traditional bow hunter. The only bows I get to see are the ones I buy. Never had anything fancy. You are some lucky men.
