Some other pics from my other 2 feeders.  First pic was my helper for setting up the camera.

This one is a real man among boys.

You can't tell without reference, but this a pretty big hog as well.

Hey Danny, your place is not near Sonora, is it? I got a friend who has a place a few miles out of Sonora, and he is covered up with axis. Man, I would love to have a place with axis on it! Looks like you are in for a great season!!!

Looks like you have plenty of targets too, Pat!

Bisch, its out of Roosevelt between Junction and Sonora. We are covered up with axis and Sika.We hunt them year round and the freezer is always full.
I have been kicking around the idea of donating a exotic deer hunt (bring lots of coolers type hunt)for the next St Judes auction.

Tedd

Exotics can be free ranging in Texas?

Cyclic-Rivers

Great Pictures everyone.

Danny, that's a wonderful idea.  I would love to get outbid on that kind of hunt!

Tedd you bet they are. There were many brought in years ago on high fence ranches in the Tx Hill Country.Over the years some have escaped due to fence issues mostly flooding. The Axis breed year round and will populate quickly, but only seem to be free range in the Hill Country. There are hundreds of low fence ranches to one high fence ranch.

A cool black phase cat. Look at his white ear tips.

Another cat,

When a man shoots with a bow it is own vigor of body that drives the arrow,  his own mind controls the missile's flight......His trained muscles and toughened thews have done the work

My pictures from the past 2 weeks were rather boring.  I had the same doe 3 times on camera, the resident fisher 4 times, a couple coyotes and a  rabbit.

It does seem however now that the neighbors cut the corn, activity increased form one deer per week to 2 deer per week so tings are looking good    :readit:    :bigsmyl:
