I just wanted to know if anyone thinks it would be ok to shoot these at whitetail out of a 48# @28 recurve. I pull 27in so I'm guessing I pull 45#. My arrow weight will be around 500g. I'm shooting 28in easton 2016.

I killed my first whitetail with a 45@28,and it put two holes in her.

I've not tried it, but that's a lot of broadhead for 45 lb and a 27" draw.  I wouldn't have confidence in getting an exit hole and would choose a different head.

Thanks Fletcher. I like the looks of them. But thought I would not get a pass through. I think I'm gonna stick with my zwickey nomercey.

Two of my buddies have shot multiple  deer with them and  both said after that they went back to a smaller BH.  One guy shoots 48 lbs the other buddy shoots 60lbs +. Both guys didn't like the overall penetration. Shoot the land shark

Just to prove a point, a couple - three years ago, Chris Spikes (Landshark 160) killed either seven or eight deer, don't exactly remember, while shooting a 45# recurve, drawn to 28", an arrow weighing 450 grains, tipped with a tree shark. Complete pass thru on all, except one, a deflection, I believe hit the deer in it's neck, and still killed it.
If your mind won't allow to be comfortable enough to shoot a tree shark, you might want to take a look at the tiger sharks. They are 1 9/16", and fly great.

Three Finger I would think that Zwickey No Mercey should do a good job for you.

I use to worry about penetration with a treeshark. Then I saw lots of pictures with complete pass throughs shooting all sorts of draw weights. Even the hits that aren't complete pass throughs are pretty gruesome with a lot of blood to follow.
