I am the youth in question. From my 20# bow, what is the toughest, cheapest and if possible lightest arrow option for it? Being able to use blunts as well is a bonus. are carbons and aluminums at risk from breaking or bending at such lighr weights? Thanks.

As I think I discussed with your Dad, I'd go with wood!!! My boys lost ALOT more, than they ever BROKE!!! If you need field points or steel blunts, I've got a bunch I'll send you for free!!!!!
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...

May The Great Spirit Guide Your Arrows..... Happy Hunting!!!

Goldtip trads 15/35.
They're tough.

I've had great luck with hardware store dowel arrows for kids. But my kids are really small still with a bow only 15#. Still they get straight and are about 49c a shaft and the kids are not good or far enough away to notice any slight imperfection in the shaft. I agree that carbons aren't worth it if you will lose them.
