I just finished up this set of Tonkin Bambo arrows.  They are fletched with Turkey and Peacock feathers.  I did most of the work on these late at night because I have been so busy with other projects.  When the wife fell asleep I'd sneak out to the garage to work on them.  Often I'd be out there until midnight.  I wanted to get them done before the Tennessee Classic.

I like them. I love the color of the peacock feather!

Those are cool. Where did you get peacock fletching?

Nice work!

Some friends gave me the feathers.  I cut and ground them.

Never thought of trying a peacock feather before.  I have a friend that has a few of the pretty birds and maybe I can get some when they molt.

I liked them.  They are kind of in between a turkey primary and secondary as far as stiffness.  The quill seemed softer and easier to work than a turkey feather.

Thanks for the kind remarks guys!

Nice arrows. I use peacock feathers quite a bit. They turn out some nice fletching.

I may cry if I hear one of those "ring" down by the creek! Great use of the peacock. Only good use I've ever seen of one. They sure are not good to eat.
Remember--Some People are alive simply because it is illegal to shoot them.

Some people can paint the Sistine chapel, some people can finger-paint, and some people just eat the Crayons....

Nice looking arrows, great job!

You really haven't hunted the old fashion way until you've done it from one of these Indian houses.(The Tipi) "Glenn ST. Charles"

I think I'll use an old arrow for the iron fox target.

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.
