Yes , good idea , can't loose any arrows and will be fun .

Took my Super Griz and lost the first arrow .
Had to dig about a foot deep to get my arrow back .    :knothead:
Seemed like a good idea .   :dunno:

Could just wait for spring for the snow to melt.  Retrieve your arrows then.  Will be stacked up like mumbly pegs.   :goldtooth:

Most convenient roving around. Plenty of snowbanks outside my door.
They're compacted enough to stop Judo's with ease.
I skip adding a target, and just "pick a spot" of snow.

I tried shooting into a snow bank once.

Never again. Those arrows will bury completely!

Lol....that's funny.  I've got a target set up in my basement.  I put an old mattress behind it thinking it would protect my BOAT.  WRONG------> I didn't poke a hole in my boat but I did put a dent in it.  I've always been a three fingers under shooter but after reading some posts on here about split finger I decided to give it a try.  Missed my target completely, blew through that mattress and bounced off my Sea Ark jon boat.  OOPS.

I understand completely. Today is the first decent day we've had here in I don't remember when. The sun is shining, and it must be 40* outside. I've been babying my rotator cuffs for a couple months, and they're feeling a little better. I've been outside trying to figure out something to take a couple shots at that won't end up with my arrows buried under four feet of snow.   :D

I have a stray arrow somewhere in my yard, took a long shot and it skidded under my block and submarined under the snow, this week is going to be warm so hopefully I'll find it.

Wasn't sure by the pic if it was snow or sand. I like turning baloons loose in the sand dunes and shooting as they drift with the wind. I won't even discuss arrow recovery when I was winter time bunny bopping in Alaska.

Wow, that's a big snow mound!  I thought it was Jelly Beans on a smaller mound! I feared you'd go through it.
