Single bevel Kill pics

Entry High and quartered down through lungs out opposite shoulder. Complete pass thru 15 to 18 yards from 18ft up. Arrow was buried in the dirt on opposite side. No bone contacted but it did exit thru all muscle and elbow area on exit. Sorry no exit pics. Abowyer Brown Bear

I know turkeys aren't what some expect when it comes to penetration test but I hit the wing bone on the way in which as every one knows isn't small. Broke it and buried in the off side wing. It took out the lungs and buried in off side wing. Bird literally flipped over dead. Abowyer Brown Bear.

I don't have any photos that I know of highlighting the entry/exit holes or blood trails, but have been shooting single bevel since the mid 80's with grizzly's and now the cutthroat head noted above with tremendous results.

I took this buck through the liver and lung this last year.  I watched him die at 30 yards.  single bevel Grizzly.  They get scary sharp:

New Brunswick - 400 pounds - 19 10/16 P&Y - down in sight, about 30 yards - no need for a blood trail.

Both were taken with a 190 grain Grizzly broadheads, neither of these needed a blood trail. I have since switched to Eclipse broadheads with a bleeder blade for better blood trails.

Sorry, my pictures aren't graphic. This is a BB shot at 16 yards with a Helix. He ran about 25 yards and dropped.




This is the pass through MFX Classic. The arrow weighted only 414 with the 125 Helix shot from 46# at 26".

Here is a Doe I killed before the BB. She was less than 10 yards. She ran 45 and died by the tree in the picture.

I've killed 6 deer since 2010 with the Helix. All but 2 have dropped in sight. The 2 that didn't; 90 yards and 140 yards. All were lung shot. All were shot from the tree stand pictured.

Last one. This buck was shot at 8 yards with the same broadhead. He went less than 35 and piled. Every deer I've killed with this combo has been a complete pass through with what many would consider light side set-ups. (bows of 46-47 and arrows 414-460 or so. The Helix has been 125-200 depending upon my tinkering that year.

My own trade point version of a grizzly single bevel. That is the front shoulder entry wound the shot was forward cutting tru some of the shoulder bone.

She broke off the arrow you can see what was left just under the hide on the off shoulder

didnt want to show the other side of this doe. She moved at shot and was quarting towards me. The arrow went in just in front of the shoulder and stopped in her off side femur.
