hunting a cut corn field tonight at 530 had 3 doe come by at 50 yards and continue about 100 yards start feeding around i watch for an hour and a half.I look over my shoulder and here comes a mature doe straight toward me about 5 feet in front of my jacket and stick blind she stops looks right at me and continues on her way at 30 feet i draw pick a spot behind her shoulder and turn the arrow loose.she takes off and fall over in 50 feet perfect double lung.first year traditional.i was shootin a rose oak puma hunter 42lb at 28 drawing 29 1/2 520 grain easton power point and bear greenheads.now i can sell the wheel bow.i love it.

pics would have been nice but the digi and two 8 year olds is another story. in fact i just heard that story while skinnin that doe.needless to say i didnt want to hear that story.but i will have pics of the next one.

Congratulations. I remember years ago when I sold my compound the guy was really surprised and he asked are you sure you will not want it later? I confidently answered and have never missed it.
