Thanks for the welcome and your offer ron, I appreciate it. kevsuperg asked where I was located too, and I forgot it in my reply. I'm in Plainfield. If you're not familiar with it, It's up in the hills, about 3 miles south of West winfield. Thanks again ron.

That's about an hour from me......spent some at Tollgate Archery on Rt. 20.....spent some money there also.....lol!
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Thanks Dannybows.

ron, I've spent quite a bit of time and money there myself over the years. George and Margaret always took good care of me. That's the difference between going to a pro shop, and buying your tackle at Walmart. Not that there's anything wrong with buying things at Walmart, but you get a more personal experience at a place like the Tollgate. They're trying to sell the place, and the last I knew george was only making arrows. I wish them the best.

Thanks Sam McMichael, deerhunter_w and GreyGoose. This IS a great place. I get so wrapped up in reading all the excellent info here, that I have to remind myself to post.

Kevsuperg, thanks for the offer. I have a surgeon that worked on my knees four years ago. He didn't kill me then, so I'll probably have him do the knee replacements, and the rotator cuff surgeries too. I've put it all off because I didn't want to miss out on any hunting, but things have gotten to the point now that I'm not able to hunt at times anyway, so I guess It's about time. I may set one up for after turkey season this spring and go from there. Thanks again.
