64" LB for me. Perfect balance between length, forgiveness and maneuverability.

Guess I'm in the 19% with 60" had a 62" that was OK but hunting the thick brush of Texas a shorter bow really shines.

Depends on the bow more than the length but my favorites have usually been in the 64 in models.

God bless, Steve

Seems like the 60, 62, and 64" are the most popular.

Just received new to me L Stewart R/D longbow. 65" 60#@27. I draw 27-1/2. for now I have to say that 65" is fine. This thing shoots spud missiles I kid you not!

I love my 60" Royal Crown, but am thinking a 58" might even be sweeter............
Never measure the mountain until you have reached the top, then you will see how low it is.

The Whittler

I like hybrids so I would say what ever could go with my draw length. Which may cover a lot of bow length.

My current R/D hunting bow is 65 1/4" tip to tip. 51#@28", I draw 28". The bow fits me, and shoots really well for me, so It's my favorite length.   ;)  Thanks.

I use 64" or 66" for my draw length which is a bit over 30".

Wudstix

63% in 60-62-64" range that's about right.

62" for me. I tend to shoot the moderately aggressive deflex reflex bows a lot like Widow longbows and Tomahawks and for me the 62" length works great.

66" for me, as that is the only R/D longbow I have. Suits me just fine with my 30" draw.
Bigfoot Sasquatch hybrid (The Dark One) 60", 44# @30"
BearPaw Cayuga 66", 37# @29"
Samick Red Fox 64", 35# @28"

My first custom built was 68" in 1987.

64" is better for my draw length!

Bringing this old post back to life as i finally got my first R/D longbow. It is a Falco Storm 54" 45# @ 28". I think it is probably really considered a hybrid, but either way it is a sweet shooting bow. I just got it today all the way from Estonia and it is such a beauty with its custom exotic hardwoods. I will do a separate review later.

Yewbender

64", i have 5 r/d that range 60,64,66 and they all shoot good.
