Fred,
That's gorgeous. I was shooting 55/75 GT's out of my 45 lb one. They flew great. As Ken told me, you may have to adjust your gap from what you were shooting. Ken was right. Have fun!

What a beautiful shooting stick. Enjoy this one.

Fred....

Uuggghhh... What a bummer! Waiting to get your hands on it will seem longer than the past five months.  Here's the silver lining; at least you didn't miss the mailman on a Saturday.  Can't wait to hear your first impressions!

I think you lose a couple points off of your man card for missing it.    :scared:

Well, I picked up the bow a little less than an hour ago and while we haven't spent that much time outside cause the temp here is only 9 degrees here is my initial impression of my Phoenix.
First off the craftsmanship is impeccable and the limb fit to the riser was tight.  I really like the double alignment pins along with the limb bolts. The limb tips are sculpted spear points which are cool looking. The medium grip fit my hand perfectly and one would think I sent Ken a tracing of my hand but I had not. The bow feels solid in the hand, balanced with just the right amount of mass weight. The draw is very smooth which surprised me a bit due to the aggressive hook in the limbs.
I only shot about 1/2 dozen arrows out of it cuz my fingers were going numb from the cold. The bow is definitely fast to the eye and I'm going to have to adjust my point of aim some as this is probably the flattest shooting bow I've owned. I shot it braced at the low end of recommended brace height which is 71/2-8" and it was very quiet even without a quiver on it. The bow came with an endless loop string which had 2 small cat whiskers on it. I am not a fan of endless loop strings and have one of Allen Schafers rhino strings for it which I am putting on it for our next date.

Nice, keep us updated Fred on your thoughts. It takes a week or two to truly find the most in a new bow.
