I am looking at a used 60" Whip. My dl is about 28" maybe a little over.

Will this stack or pinch, should I wait for a 62" bow to come along?

Blessed One

I have 2 Takedown whips that are 58's and draw 28.5 and not had any issues. Love them and they handle great in the woods. Dan builds one of the if not the best bows I have ever shot! smooth as warm butter in my opinion!

I'm looking at a one piece whip, maybe the riser length has an impact??

Been shooting the Whip for quite some time now. 60" is plenty long for a 28" draw. Some just like the feel of a longer 62" or 64" during the draw cycle. I feel the new HS Whip in 60" is about as perfect as it gets. BTW I own both and like shooting both. No finger pinch what so ever. My draw is 28 1/4" and feel I could shoot a 58" Whip as well.

Peter, I have owned a number of Whips and currently shoot a 64" Classic H.S., my draw length is 29" and all but one of my other Whips were 62" bows. The only potential problem you may run into is if the 60" bow was made for someone with a substantially shorter draw length. If that is the case it would probably be written on the bow, in any case I would ask.
