The Hotdogs from Hell!

Mickey was one of the first ppl i met growing up shooting trad. and yeah, the old days of mojam are a distant memory.  someone could write a book about what went on at that campground.

Yep back in the day we started the food from you area walk through on Saturday night.  We used to do a MOjambala that was pretty good.  LOL

The sharing of special dishes was always a treat at MoBoJam but there were several camps that made it really special not only because of the good eats they shared but the friendship they shared as well.

Mike(Wingnut), wife Connie,Rusty (trashwood) Craine, The Ferret, his lovely wife and his "other" brother and a few others whose faces I can see in my minds eye but the names aren't coming to mind always pooled their offerings to made for a great group of "Goodwill" ambassadors and  some tasty morsels.

Thanks for bringing back some wonderful memories Wingnut.

God bless,Mudd

Had my 1st taste of coyote, beaver tail, HDFH's and cheese curds plus so many more amazing tasting dishes....this was all made so awesome because of the folks that shared.

Mickey is alive and well - I had dinner with him, his wife and son last night.  We share a love for Cincinnati's famous Skyline Chili.  He is also an avid Cinci BenGALS fan while I am a diehard Steelers fan, so we also love trash talking each other's teams.  I was bowhunting in the area and he invited me over.  I asked if he had been bowhunting lately but it is still motorcycle riding season and he loves to ride.  He also has been busy as a "trophy husband" and spoiling his grandson.

I saw Will Steffen at Graf's reloading in St charles, MO about a year ago. I met him at Mojam when he did a bbo glue up talk.

He is BIG into the 45 action shooting stuff but said he still has some Osage and bamboo around. Didn't remember me but I remembered him.
When a man shoots with a bow it is own vigor of body that drives the arrow,  his own mind controls the missile's flight......His trained muscles and toughened thews have done the work

the ferret is a fine gentleman who is ever so generous with his bow building knowledge and is also a genuinely great person!  i crossed paths with mickey through "fate" back in 2004...one of the most spiritual moments of my life!  if you search the "classics-subject-only" here in tradgang for "little one" you will read about it.  i have a bow made by him named KISMET that is very dear to me.  i have spent the last 9 years raising little ones of my own and have gotten away from hunting, but i told my 9 yr old just the other day that next year he, KISMET, and i were headed back to the woods.

Kevin Dill

I remember him from his pre-stickbow days and activities in the Ohio Bowhunters Association. I also recall a season where he killed 3 deer; one each with a c-bow, recurve and longbow.
