Selfbow doe!!

I've made selfbows for several years and I've taken them to the woods a little bit but for whatever reason I wasn't real confident in them. This year I had two solid hunting weight bows that I committed myself to hunt the entire season with no matter what. Last evening this nice doe gave me a 12 yard broadsides shot and here she is. Bow is 65 lbs at 28 osage 66" long. Quiver I made from the hide of my 1st traditional deer kill. Sitka spruce shafts fletched with turkey feathers from turkey's I killed and 190 grain grizzly el grandes up front. Probably my favorite deer kill so far!

RAU, what a nice picture with your deer, quiver, bow and arrows all made by yourself. What a great accomplishment, to kill a deer with a Trad bow is special, but a SELF bow made by the shooter is about as good as it gets.
