Short sit this afternoon, saw a few turkeys and some bushy tails.......saw a rub, maybe a week old, but it was a real good one. The wind was just going in every direction so I backed out of the spot.

I just got in with my wife after 6/12hrs with a lantern on a blood trail. Trying to follow a hit buck across a beet field isn't fun ; everything is red. Followed him into a thicket and lost the trail at midnight. Good blood with bubbles in the beginning but was drops 350 yds later. One lung maybe and a touch high ? Think of me in the morning when I go back. Long night tonight.
