Once again I am seeking the wisdom and advice of those much smarter than myself.  I am looking for a good grain scale to weigh arrows and components.   The idea of electronic does have an appeal.

anybody used the hornady 1500gs?  Other recommendations welcome

thanks in advance

3Rivers has a pretty good digital scale that won't break the bank.

I've used a   Jennings JS150V  for years. It is one of my favorite tools of all kinds.

I've been using the cheapie 3rivers scale for years. You can spend a lot more on one but I have never seen a great deal of inaccuracy from any make of grain scale.

Got mine at Harbor Freight, under $15 if I remember right. Seems to work fine.

Just got a new one, Superior Balance Archery-550, from The Footed Shaft vendor at an archery shoot for $20. My old one is a US Balance Digital Pocket Scale Model: US-200 which I bought years ago.

I use the HF one as well.  Works fine for my usage.

The model you are looking at is good-reads to 1500 gns. I had one a while back that only read to 500; which of course is useless. Buy from a sponsor.

I use an old RCBS scale I have had since the late 60's. Only weights up to 500 grains but I can weight my arrows without the points if neccesary.
