Bought this as new, never been fired, guy couldnt remember much, as in what riser, yr, etc. I believe its a B riser, limbs say 60", 50#, then on the bottom of limb, in what looks like marker it says 52#,so must be #1 limbs, correct? The riser is really thin and has no compass.Any info would be appreciated.  Thanks Dave

I have one just like it. If I remember correctly I got mine in the late 1990's.

Yea, it definitely looks like a B riser. I would measure tip to tip know which limbs you have. Surprised they don't say on the limbs somewhere, I thought they were marked under the
latches?

PaulDeadringer29

#1 limbs make a 60" bow on a B riser and #3 limbs make a 64" bow on a B riser. They are 52# on an A riser and 50# on a B riser, by the way. Good looking bow.

David Mitchell

Yes, it's a B riser.  The limbs may be marked for 52# on an A riser. My new limbs are marked for weight for both A and B risers. That will increase the weight about 2# by going to the shorter A riser.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

Had to edit my post, i meant to say, i believe them to be #1 limbs, as i have #3 limbs on order from Big Jims. I am more than pleased with the bow, and i think iam really going to enjoy those new limbs. Maybe a A riser is in my future, really like the new two tone risers. Does one have to special order one not to have a compass in it, as this one does not have one.

They all have compass as of now. Just got in some A and B risers in two tone...some 59's too.

I have a 2002, A riser with #1 limbs, 56". It's a great shooting bow. The compass in the riser is a POS. I wish they wouldn't even bother putting them in.

My 1997 B riser has no compass.

What's your draw length on that 56" bow, does it stack? Thought of maybe picking up an A riser, I have both limbs for my B

I'm drawing about 28.5 with my 2014 A riser and #1 limbs (56" bow).  I feel like I'm right at the "comfortable" limit.

I shoot a 30" arrow, 45# limbs. The bow is 56 lbs at my DL.
