Blind King Hunting Chair.  Solid, comfortable, quiet and easy to carry.  Bought one before turkey season this spring and sat in it everyday.  I got the deluxe with the swivel seat.

X2 on the ground hunter seat that Big Jim sells.  Here's a pic of my setup this past late season on a cold December day in northern Illinois.  The seat was comfortable for an all day sit.

The millinium tree seat is hard to beat. Big and comfortable they are very light... if memory serves they are 2#.

I used a Torges seat for years and still do on occasion.

I enjoy my Hammock seat, it is light and very comfortable. I also think the Spot 360 looks nice.

Torges Tree Seat!  Easy to make, light to carry, fast to set up and having a tree as back support and breaking up your silhouette is just an added bonus.

Like I said I like tree seats and I've used my lone wolf top. That said I think the Torges seat is what I will try. Mud slide slim said it best.

I have one of the groundhunters seats from Big Jim. I will be using it this fall.   They are easy to carry, just lean it up against a tree. and you are ready to hunt.

My meatless butt couldn't handle the Big Jims seat. I doubled the pad and still couldn't sit very long. The hammock seat is so comfy.

Funny this came up. I just bought (literally 1 hr ago) a 13" Coleman. Folding Stool at a local discount store. $12

I have a tree seat also, but this little stool would make things nice in the right place. It folds flat, and doesn't weight much.

Here's a pic of the smaller 9" seat

x3 on the hammock seat. I've never sat on anything for so long so comfortably. You need a tree of course, but I like to have a tree behind me anyway - especially if I'm hunting during gun season.

I use a 6 1/2-gallon bucket with a swivel lid like comes on the dove hunting bucket. They are taller than the 5 gallon buckets by about 3 inches.

I have had both knees replaced and have trouble getting low. I got the idea from Bow-n-Head ( Ray ). It holds my Ghillie suit and a Turkey decoy. Room for lots more if you want.

I added a shoulder strap for easy carrying. Spray painted camo. Works great for me.

Spot 360 it is easy to pack and easy to set up and is extremely quiet. Can't ask for a lot more.
Also the hammock is great and very packable.

Do they still make the waldrops? I though they stopped making those? Or did they restart?
Yep, had David make me one about three weeks ago. He makes them as an order comes in. Usually 2-3 week wait.

And once you sit a stand in one of these, the rest will sit in a corner.

Different seats for different circumstances however when I know it's crunch time for big game the Huntmore, with it wide foot pads , adjustable legs, rotating quiet firm and comfortable seat becomes the best option to get off a good shot.

Nice set up Bruce!  Did you ever get one from that spot?
