Sitting around the campfire.

I was a little slow with the camera trying to catch Blondie chasing the cub up a tree.

The cub waiting for it to be safe to come down.

Well done Tracy. Your story brings back memories from my past trips to Stickflingers. For a minute there, I thought a sow we named Monna had moved over from Determination. She should be ready to come in heat this year. There was a real tall male, about 7-footer that I past up last year hanging around as well. His face was rubbed and needed to hill out his head. Thanks for the stories, Mike

Again Tracy, congratulations on a fine bear and a great story.  I truly enjoyed meeting both you and Bill and hope we can share another campfire somewhere down the road.  And Moe is about the best camp dog I every met.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Outstanding story. Really great the way you fought your way through your shooting issues Tracy....and then got "a hole in one! " congratulations!

Tracy, great story and beautiful bear! You're hard-headedness when it came to pushing thru your shooting woes and the final result is just top shelf!

Enjoying the outdoors together and having a chance to enjoy a hunt like Stickflingers is awesome. The spillover from Determination (been there, done that) produced for ya. Congrats fellow NP!!! Congrats to both of you    :campfire:

Congrats again Tracy on a fantastic bear, thanks for sharing your story and the pics.  I really enjoyed meeting you and Bill as well as Moe.  And thanks to Bill for letting me shoot his Zippers in camp, that was a real treat.
