An elderly neighbor of mine stopped by tonight with an older Shakespeare Necedah recurve.  He sees me shooting in the yard all the time and wondered if I'd be interested in his old bow.
Bow is 58" and marked 45#.  It appears to be in great shape with straight limbs though I refused to string it with the ancient string it was carrying.  He's a good guy and I don't want to "steal" it.  I told him I'd check with you all and get a reasonable price.  I'm not into recurves much, but he seemed more interested in finding a home for his bow.
So what's the ballpark price for a bow like this?
Thanks.
Mike

monterey

I sold one about six years ago for $80.  Wish I had kept it.

The price suggested by monterey is a reasonable one. Great little bow.

Are you sure it's 58" and not 56"?

I sold 2 Necedah's, both 58", for $125 apiece last year. Great shooting bows.

Anywhere from $50 to $125.  Since you will be putting a string on it, subtract $15.
