I can't quit buying bows and I can't hardly make myself sale them. So for all the guys with a traditional bow addiction...please show me your bow racks. I need a place to properly store them.

Thx in advance

Sorry, I have no room left on my racks. Wouldn't do any good to show them to you. There is however, room under my bed. Right next to the other 14 stored there.    :banghead:

LOL, I'm "down" to 7, with a build about to be done so 8 total.  But only like 3-4 of those really count right?  Looking at the rack it doesn't seem like that many..but then I say "eight" and I laugh.

There are far worse things to collect/be addicted to.  Meth, booze, gambling.  Women?  Guns may have more residual value over time, but I prefer bows because A. they're A LOT prettier.  B. they get me outside on a regular basis.  C. I can shoot them daily in the yard and not have to drive to a range, so IMHO they have a much higher cost-use return than other stuff.

The nice thing about the harem I currently have is its a nice spread of form and function, lengths 56-69", draws 48-94#, and a backed selfbow to a radical carbon-boo hybrid or static recurves.  I like variety.

Show you my bows your just going to want more.LOL

Couple weeks ago I had been at an all time high with 93 sticks. Back on rehab again slightly.LOL

This won't help you when your all racked up and under bed and on bed and accross dressers are loaded then TD bags have to be load up but then you forget what you have and maybe buy more? LOL

You think you have it bad then theres always someone who has it worse. Bows to men are like shoes to some women.LOL

You can never have too many bows - down to 7 now with 2 in the works. Good thing all bows look the same to my wife    :bigsmyl:   Wow RC 93 bows

Every time I get to thinking that I might have a few too many bows, I just refer back to this photo of Chester Stevenson's den...

Last year I headed out with my favorite right hand longbow, my yew/bamboo from the Hill blank.  Problem was I had my left hand back quiver, loaded with all but one arrow too light for that bow, my left hand shooting glove and my right hand arm guard that I struggled to put it on the wrong arm.  That is when I discovered that I had a mixed set of stuff.  I congratulated myself for having matching boots and socks.  I took all but two bows and with 16 penny nails with plastic hose over them hung them all out of sight, along with the different non matching arrows.  At least the two remaining bows will shoot the same arrows and now my wife's bows can go on the bow rack.

Sorry, I don't show my rack unless you throw some beads my way.   :)

My wife wont let me have a bow rack, so I got all mine stuffed in the closet on top of the braces that hold up the clothes rod!

Thx for all the replies...and it is all bittersweet. Lol. I see that this problem exists and I also see that is does not seem to have a cure. Oh well...I can't think of a better thing to spend money on.

I am not sure who owns all of these bows, but I admire him/her.

Just glad that there is someone who has this sickness worse than me!

KYFOXSTICK

And I thought I had a problem...I'm in good shape. Lol

That collection is unreal   :clapper:

That is bordering on the ridiculous.

Brian, you need to start making them .... 3 reasons ...

1) takes longer to make than order, this will slow down the growth of your collection

2) costs less money to make than to order, this will allow you to make them faster and increase the growth of your collection

3) money saved will allow you to still buy bows ... increasing the growth of your collection.

Lost count of the times I said I wasn't buying any more, so I quit saying it. I also kept buying more bow racks. I have a couple empty places that just don't look right.
If it's in your way, move it.
